Coronavirus Safety Measures

We have made renovations to the Ice Cream Barn to help mitigate the threat of Covid-19. We have installed plexiglass partitions to keep a barrier between our customers waiting in line, and we have placed social distancing stickers in our line to keep customers spaced safely. We now also have plexiglass separating our employees and customers when they order ice cream.

We have also installed iWave air purifiers. These help purify the indoor air from pathogens, including Covid-19. See the impressive Covid-19 test results here.

We have also installed take-out windows and a new patio, enabling our customers to wait for their ice cream outside and with distancing measures in place.

Employee Protocols

Employees will not be allowed to work if they have any illness whatsoever. They will also not be allowed to work if anyone in their household is ill, unless that person has tested negative for Covid-19, and the employee has no symptoms of any illness.

Employees will be required to wear masks during the entirety of their shift. They will also use compostable disposable gloves when scooping ice cream or handling food products.

Our employees already abide by all standard health and food safety laws, and will continue to do so.

We implore all of our customers to adhere to all local guidelines regarding precautionary measures against the spread of Coronavirus.
